Next, we move on to the figure: the legs and arms for the final pose are attached with Super Glue...
For the knee joints, which are very visible after the joints have been glued, there are two options: resculpt the creases in the pants using "Milliput" modeling compound, or—a simpler but more delicate solution—recreate the creases using smooth toilet paper coated with diluted wood glue... The solution chosen here... Allow the entire assembly to dry thoroughly...

Painting
A soldier with too much gear but no helmet? That’s weird... I decided to put one on him. Thinking of comic book illustrations from the ’50s and ’60s, I’ll make it in the style of that era—that is, round, “jar”-shaped. It’s made from translucent packaging pieces connected together...
The figure will be completely repainted, except for the very expressive eyes... First base coat in Humbrol 98 Chocolate Brown... As for the face, it will be painted with Winsor & Newton oil paints...
Initial painting tests for the weapon using metallic blue... The suit is painted by hand, using a chipping effect created with several warm shades of increasing lightness...
The piece is finished, helmet in place. The final color of the weapon has been decided... It's more in harmony with the figure and the future setting...
