"An underwater cat ?! Weird !" The "Hellcat" - a U.S. NAVY fighter - played an active role in the fight against the Japanese occupiers from 1943 onwards. It lies in 15 meters of water near the Gizo archipelago in the Solomon Islands in the Pacific. Relatively intact apart from a broken wing, it appears to have landed in a hurry, but without a fight. The machine guns are still visible, as are the ammunition compartments and engine block. The REVELL model is in 1/32 scale...
