The Monogram B-29... A kit that's nearly 50 years old!
It isn't very detailed compared to today's models, but it will be perfect for the diorama in this tutorial...
Half of the airplane will be used and glued to the bottom...
But before that, we're going to reduce the tail section (nearly 60 cm in wingspan!) and move the engines closer together to create a depth-of-field effect...
Apply putty to the joints, sand them down, and finish by brushing on liquid putty to check for any imperfections...
The model is given a coat of white primer to cover any imperfections that are still visible...
