

"That reminds me of a Laureline landing !"
The inspiration for this diorama comes from a 1950s novel by Chad Oliver - "The Winds of Time" - which recounts the crash on Earth of a ship from an advanced civilization in search of inhabited worlds, but it arrives in prehistoric times and the crew decide to hibernate so they can repair it and set off again in the future when Earth has achieved space travel...
Another two-level diorama: in the foreground, a WARHAMMER shuttle in 25mm scale, and the ship in the distance in mist in 1/87th scale. The aircraft is made entirely from salvaged parts, a fine example of the art of accommodating leftovers...
