"A little break between battles!"

STEP ONE

Make a set in a coffee table. The initial idea was to recreate the desert, with a Z-scale rail convoy crossing (or in fact bypassing) it. The result was a cactus greenhouse... The main subject was Arizona's famous Monument Valley. The mesas are made of plaster on a wire frame and sculpted before final hardening. The plaster is then inserted into the double-bottomed dessert trays, which contain the potting soil, since cacti are alive and bloom at night. Once the plants are in the ground, the decor is covered with red dust, and embellished with Z-scale characters and wild horses.

SECOND STAGE

A few years later, modification. The cacti are removed, a new mesa added and a VERLINDEN 120mm apache. The coffee table becomes a real diorama...

THIRD STEP

The coffee table is partly destroyed. One element is salvaged and will form the backdrop for a scene with John Wayne (see figures section - Western)...

FOURTH STEP

The coffee table is modified to accommodate a variety of cinema-related vehicles and figures of different scales, which will eventually form an enormous sculpture...
